If you plan on visiting Maine and have only 1 day, here are my suggestions for your brief trip!
The Light House.
One of the main highlights of Maine...(no pun intended lol). The Light House is a fixture of Portland Maine and is easily recognizable. Not much to do here other than taking in the scene and a good photo op.
LL Bean Outlet.
A drive up to the Freeport Outlet is worth it especially if your goal is to get some duck boots!
Visit the LL Bean factory outlet and make sure you see the big boot that sits in front of the building.
Becky's Diner.
Now there are a lot of choices to choose from when it comes to dining. It just so happens that the gentleman that was running the ticketing counter on my flight to Maine was actually a local and suggested Becky's Diner...the food did not disappoint! Other local favorites are DiMillos and The Highroller Lobster Co.
